I give private lessons from my home studio in Mitcheldean. It has heating for the winter, air conditioning for the Summer and is fully equipped with my own kit that I use for gigging and recording. Pearl Masters drums with Sabian Hand Hammered cymbals, a Yamaha DTX electric kit and a speaker system for playing to backing tracks. The two drum kit set up is great for teaching as I can demonstrate on the electric kit and the student needn't get up. It's particularly useful for playing along with them to learn timing and we can even jam together! Lessons are priced at £13 for a 30 minute lesson, £24 for an hour lesson.

I also come out and give lessons in student's homes in the Forest of Dean and Ross on Wye areas.

30 minute lessons are between £13 and £15 depending on location and £25 for one-hour lessons. The first lesson will include a full inspection of your kit, checking the set up and tuning to make sure you are getting the most out of your instrument.
